With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Andrew Barresi of Beverly, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Diane E. Barresi (Salerno); his parents, Frank Barresy and Rose Barresy (DeStefano); and his sister Bonita Barresy. He is survived by: his friend Bill; his children, Lea Barresi (Scott Daneluk) of Beverly and William Barresi, Jr. (Rachael) of Lantana, TX; and his grandchildren, William III (Drew), Camden and Kate of Lantana, Texas..
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Josefa Rivera de Grateraux's Funeral Service (84 Washington Square, Salem, MA 01970). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the North Beverly Cemetery (685 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915).
