He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Bradley Ryan and Kathryn Ryan (Desmond); and his sibling Thomas G. Ryan Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ryan; his sister Kathryn A. Howard (Ryan) of West Roxbury; his stepchildren, Renee and Robert Casaubon; his friends, Bruce Frederick and Norman Pierce; and his pet Sadie. He is also survived by Many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an Animal Shelter of One's Choice.
