He was predeceased by: his wife Diann Nugent (Barbera); his parents, Francis M. Sr. and Winifred Nugent (Leary); and his sibling Francis M. Nugent Jr.. He is survived by: his children, David J. Nugent Jr. of Billerica, Michael Nugent (Keri Clendening) of Wilmington, Kimberly Kierstead (Michael) of Salem, NH and Michele Nugent of Nashua, NH; and his sisters, Kathy Martell of Malden, Susan Nugent of Malden and Louise Marino. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home (66 Concord Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fox Hill Cemetery (130 Andover Rd, Billerica, MA 01821).
