With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dorothy T. Sears of Billerica, Massachusetts, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dorothy left this world on July 18, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Cregg and Helen J. Cregg (Newell). She is survived by: her children, John J. Sears (Kathleen) of Billerica and Colleen (Gregg Madden) of Derry, NH.; her grandchildren, Ryan Sears (Kim) of Lowell, Laura Shanahan (Christopher) of Billerica and Kyle Madden of New Hampshire; and her siblings, Donna Cregg Morris of Dracut, Charlotte (Jack Spinney) of Dracut, Frank Cregg of Nashua, Eugene Cregg of Dracut and John Cregg (Karen) of Pelham, NH. She is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home (66 Concord Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Patrick Cemetery (1251 Gorham St, Lowell, MA 01852).
