She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry J. Cutter and Elizabeth Cutter (Gracie); her sibling Marion S. Trites (late James N. Trites); and her mother-in-law Mabel E. Melanson (White). She is survived by: her husband Louis J. Capaldo Jr. "Biffie" of Billerica; her friends, Sammy and Rosemarie; her children, Linda A. Ransom (late Bruce J. Ransom) of Billerica, MA, Cheryl A. Wesinger (late Gene F. Wesinger Jr.) of Billerica, MA and Steven J. Capaldo (Mary J. Capaldo) of Raymond, NH.; her grandchildren, Lyn-Marie Dubois (Billy) of Dracut, MA, Kathleen Souza (Jimmy) of Billerica, MA, Colby Ransom of Billerica, MA, Christopher Wesinger (Theresa) of Weymouth, MA, Andrew Wesinger (Yansi) of Billerica, MA, Stacie Wesinger Caira (Kevin) of Billerica, MA, Steven Capaldo Jr. (Kati) of Tewksbury, MA and Robert Capaldo (Gianna) of Billerica, MA; her great grandchildren, Kylee, Aaron, William III, Bryn-Marie, Rylen, Milo, Gene, Leah, Scotty, Cody, Genevieve, Vienna and Tessa; her sister Ruth Ann Dragon of Maine; and her godchildren, Patti Valente Lloyd, Dawna Williamson and Paul Trites. She is also survived by her husband of 70 years, as well as her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Wildwood Cemetery (233 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887).
In Lieu of flowers donations in Betty's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 93 Worcester St., Wellesley, MA 02481 or to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
