We are sad to announce that, on March 13, 2026, at the age of 92, Frederick I. Mandel of Billerica, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Frederick may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Mandel and Henrietta Mandel. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his sons, Gerald (John Latawiec) and Robert (Catherine); and his grandchildren, Rachel Mandel, Eliza Roseman, Meghan Mandel and Benjamin Mandel. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
