It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Taylor of Billerica, Massachusetts, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 11, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Stillman Taylor of Maine and Helen Yorke of Cambridge; his granddaughter Sophia; and his brothers, Robert and Brian.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Sonnenberg; his sons, Shawn, Jeffrey and Patrick; his grandchildren, Emma, Ryan, Ethan, Aubree, Mikayla, Brendan and Michael; and his brothers, Wayne of Florida and Kevin of Maine. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burns Funeral Home (354 Boston Rd, Billerica, MA 01821).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's memory can be made to Gary Taylor's Memory: Funeral and Medical Needs.

“Dear Linda, I was blessed to work with Gary at Lowell House. Also, when I was younger I spent a lot of time in Cambridge, so we reminisced a lot about the old days in Cambridge. I always enjoyed and admired Gary's ability to connect with people, his sense of humor and his astute clinical observations. Gary always manifested compassionate humanity. I will miss him.
