Gregory will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Gregory by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Gregory is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Gregory’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his parents, Jeremiah J. and Mary K. O'Connor (McCarthy) of Chelmsford; his siblings, Stephanie Leahey (Mark) of Washington, D. C. and Kevin O'Connor; his fiancée Alison Hartelius of Mansfield; and his nieces and nephews, Parker, Merritt Leahey and Hayden O'Connor. He is also survived by several aunts, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home (66 Concord Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church (460 Boston Rd, Billerica, MA 01821).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Greg's name to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Billerica.
