In loving memory of Helen M. Gadourey (Billerica, Massachusetts), who departed this world on September 17, 2025 at the age of 80. Helen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Gadourey; her parents, Roscoe J. Stimpson and Helen M. Stimpson (Smith); and her siblings, Ralph, William, Richard Stimpson and Gertrude Fitzpatrick.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Gadourey (Linda) of Billerica, Michele Morris of Billerica and Heather Plater (Jon) of Chelmsford; her grandchildren, Craig Chestnut (Tiffany), Richard Gadourey III, Mitchell Gadourey (Kristina), Julie Neuman (Daulton), William Morris Dungan, Alexis Plater, Jonathan Plater and Olivia Plater; and her great grandchildren, Kaydence Chestnut, Sadie Mae Chestnut, Lacey Jane Chestnut, Rita Neuman and Ryanne Neuman.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home (66 Concord Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fox Hill Cemetery (130 Andover Rd, Billerica, MA 01821).
Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
