It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene E Lander of Billerica, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Lander; her parents, George Trueman and Catherine Oâ (Brien Trueman); her siblings, Helen (Saksa), Freddie Trueman and Ann Trueman; her grandson Scott Dumont; her siblings-in-law, Harvey Lander, Maude Lander-Churchill and Carol Lander; and her in-laws, Isaac and Violet Lander.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Barbas (Steve) of Billerica and Gordon Lander Jr. (Patricia) of Billerica; her grandson Nicholas Barbas of Billerica; her children, Caitlin Barbas (Alex Silva) of Baltimore, MD and Jason Dumont (Natalie) of Boston; her great grandchild Max Dumont; her siblings-in-law, Harold C. Lander of North Reading, Mary Lander of Billerica and Margie Trueman of Bradenton, FL; and her friend Jean Flight of Wilmington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
