In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Joan's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Carroll and Helen Carroll (Whelan); and her husband Joseph Driscoll. She is survived by: her children, Todd Driscoll (Kathleen) of Groton, Kimberly Driscoll of New York and Matthew Driscoll (Brynna) of Colorado; and her close friend Ron Tomlin of Billerica.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home (66 Concord Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa Church (466 Boston Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fox Hill Cemetery (130 Andover Rd, Billerica, MA 01821).
In celebration of her life and in recognition of her enduring spirit of compassion, donations in Joan's memory may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association.
