She was predeceased by: her daughter Lindsay Yaneff; and her parents, Murray Somerville and Ruth Somerville. She is survived by: her husband Nicholas; her daughters, Nicole Walker (Matthew) and Victoria Yaneff; her grandsons, Patrick Walker and Benjamin Walker; and her sister Susan Porfert (Alan). She is also survived by her nephew, nieces, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Newton Cemetery (791 Walnut St, Newton Centre, MA 02459).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Laurel's memory may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts and New Hampshire Chapter—a cause close to the family's heart.
