Richard left this world on September 30, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Allen and Helen Allen (Loveless); his wife Dolores Allen (Bortone); his grandson Michael; and his sister Marjorie.
He is survived by: his children, Richard I. Allen, Jr. (Maddie), Kimberly A. Murphy (Billy), Karen Girard Murphy (Jack), Ronald J. Allen (Kalley Cutler), Katharine Kilroy (Tim) and Robert L. Allen (Jayne); and his sister Millie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great friends.
