He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Alice Charlton (Paul); his son Robert "Bobby" Charlton Jr.; Rochelle Ann Charlton (Montminy). He is survived by: his children, Nicole Charlton (Robert) of Billerica, John Charlton (Trang) of Boylston, Edward Charlton (Kristin) of Mansfield and James Charlton (Roxanne) of Pepperell. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
