He was predeceased by: his wife Doris E. Griffin (Wentzell); his parents, Walter Griffin and Rita Griffin (Perkins); and his brother-in-law Paul Carmody. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Small (Jeff) of North Andover, MA and Tara Coughlin (Tom) of Auburn, NH; his granddaughter Katia Small; and his siblings, Patricia Carmody of Lynn, MA, John Griffin (Carol) of Naples, FL and Pamela Georgenes (Peter) of Plymouth, MA. He is also survived by his niece and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home (66 Concord Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa Church (466 Boston Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (96 Riverneck Rd, Chelmsford, MA 01824).
