She was predeceased by: her husband Charles E. Thornton Jr.; her parents, Joseph Sharpe and Hazel Sharpe; and her daughter Carol Thornton. She is survived by: her children, Robert Thornton of Citrus Springs, FL, Elizabeth Llewellyn (Richard) of Citrus Springs, FL, Joan Thornton-Bates of Vernal, UT, Lisa Hannon (William) of North Billerica and Linda Ryan. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home (66 Concord Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fox Hill Cemetery (130 Andover Rd, Billerica, MA 01821).
