He was predeceased by: his wife Diane M. Blackmore (Maron); his parents, Joseph R. Blackmore and Helen Blackmore (Smith); and his brothers, Joe Blackmore, Ken Blackmore and George Blackmore.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry (Kevin Russell) of Uxbridge and Shaina Blackmore of North Providence, RI; his grandson Addison Russell; and his sisters, Elaine Liggett and Janice Blackmore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
