He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Black (Santini); his parents, Frances Pew Hayes and George B. Black, Sr.; and his sister Helen P. Black. He is survived by : his sons, J. Howard Pew Black Jr. (Dawn) of Amesbury, MA and Christopher George Black (Jennifer) of Berlin, MA.; his grandchildren, Noah J. Black, Allyson T. Black, Jared D. Black and Alexander G. Black; his pet Amber; and his siblings, George B. Black, Jr., Janette B. Kroenke, Louise H. Yarnall and Elizabeth A. Black. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
