He was predeceased by: his parent George Metz; and his sibling Barbara Doran. He is survived by: his parent Annie K. Metz (Armstrong); his children, Ann Marie Costello of Braintree, Paul Devin and Kathleen Walsh of Harwich; and his grandchildren, Brian Walsh, Devin Guerard, Lauren Walsh, Sarah Devin, Thomas Costello, Marisa Devin, Ryan Costello, Nora Devin, Neil Devin, Brendan Costello and Dorothy Walsh. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Dorchester Vietnam Memorial or the MA Fallen Hero's.
