She was predeceased by: her spouse Charles "Bob" Bigelow; and her sibling Marie Ford. She is survived by: her siblings, Helena Burrows of Dorchester, Frances McDonald and Leona Starr; and her sibling-in-law Evan Bigelow of Florida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Claire's memory may be made to the Massachusetts Humane Society, P.O. Box 850177, Braintree, MA 02185.
