We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2018, at the age of 74, Ernestine Tymes (Boston, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Joseph Tymes. She is survived by: her parents, David Matthews and Ethel Lee Matthews; and her children, Bettie Jean Matthews-Witherspoon, Francine Tymes, Stanley Tymes (Muhammad) and Geraldine Tymes. She is also survived by four sisters, five brothers, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
