He was predeceased by: his parent William J.; his former wife Eleanor Morrissey (Walsh); his son Joseph; and his sibling James A. Morrissey of Braintree. He is survived by: his parent Anne E. Morrissey (O'Rourke); his wife Karen M. Morrissey (Brown); his child Gerald J. Morrissey, Jr.; his wife Joanne of Milton; his grandchildren, Katelyn Schmuttenmaer Gabriel, Matthew Schmuttenmaer, Kathryn, Daniel Morrissey, Molly and Jack Morrissey; his siblings, Theresa Murphy of Peabody, Celine Ray of Braintree and Doris McPhee of Weymouth; and also, Kathleen Morrissey of Arlington, Patricia Lyons (Thomas) of Pembroke, Sheila Schmuttenmaer (Mark) of Halifax and Sean M. Morrissey (Catherine) of Weymouth.
