He was predeceased by: his parent James J. Donovan, Jr.; and his sibling Mary Ellen Wellington. He is survived by: his mother Betty Donovan; his siblings, Elizabeth Donovan of Bellingham, Anne Marie Rawding (Robert Rawding) of Erie, PA, Timothy J. Donovan of Natick and Daniel J. Donovan (Mary Donovan) of Stanford, VA; his nieces and nephews, Lisa Connors, Jack Hayes, Don Assencoa, Sam Schultz, T. J. Donovan, Zachary Donovan, Travis Donovan, Julia Donovan, Peter Rawding, Matthew Rawding, Amber Peele, Kelsey Elrod and Sean Donovan; and his siblings-in-law, David Wellington, Jerry Schultz of Holliston and Cathy Donovan of Franklin. He is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
