He was predeceased by: his siblings, Michael, Anthony, Salvatore, Gaetano and Anna.

He is survived by: his spouse Jeanette Abruzzese of Braintree; his children, Kristine Melo (Ted) of Braintree and Meredith Moran (Ryan) of Randolph; his sibling Peter Abruzzese of Holbrook; his sibling-in-law Adelaide Burchsted; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Melo and Allison Melo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
