He was predeceased by : his parents, Archie Lacoss and Katherine Lacoss (Johnson); and his siblings, Betty Moquin (Francis), Phyllis Vallier (Conrad), Judy Wilcox, Reginald Lacoss (Shirley) and Rodney Lacoss (Donnie).
He is survived by : his wife Betty; his sons, Michael Lacoss Jr. (Barbara) of Brownington and Mark Lacoss of Derby; his grandchildren, Oliva, Bria Lacoss of Brownington and Benjamin Lacoss of Barton; his siblings, Bonnie Chartier (Joe) of Orleans and Robin Lacoss (Claire Talbot) of Newport Center; and his siblings-in-law, David, Judy Poirier of Newport and Marilyn Lacoss Currier of Newport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
