He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Shea and Peg Shea; his father-in-law Jack Gavin; and his brother-in-law Sean Gavin. He is survived by: his wife Doreen M. (Gavin); his children, Kerri Anne of West Roxbury, Kate of West Roxbury, Christine of West Roxbury and Michael J. Shea of West Roxbury; his siblings, John of Duxbury, James of Walpole and Maureen Howells of Medfield; his mother-in-law Marguerite Gavin; his siblings-in-law, Marie Shea, Maureen Shea, Richard Howells, Michael Gavin and Mary Ellen Cameron; and his cousin Declan Walsh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many relatives.
