She is survived by: her nieces, Linda Galvez and Cynthia Dixon Patterson; her brother James Louis Dunn (Joyce) of Raleigh, N. C.; her sons, Gene Earl (Vallerie) and Carl Stevie Thorpe (Johanna); her grandchildren, Felicia, Carl Jr., Rina, Teria, Christopher, Lauren and Niya; and her great grandchildren, Kira, Zhaneiya, Jazmariah, Jeveaha, Makai, Joie-Marie, Zadia and Louis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
