He is survived by: his parent Jessie Mae Sutton; his spouse Eddie Mae West; his children, Anthony Sutton, John Sutton, Anita Sutton, Richard Sutton, Jr. and Tyrone Sutton; his grandchildren, Marquis Parham and Shemar Cornelius; and his siblings, Flora Trotman, Bernice Walker, Yvonne Traylor and Steven Sutton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
