He was predeceased by: his brother Paul Ferguson. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen P. Ferguson (Nacy); his children, Kathleen N. Ferguson of Boston and Thomas E. Ferguson; his siblings, Francis Ferguson (JoAnn) of Worcester, Michael Ferguson of Douglas and Mary Pat Ferguson Devine (William Devine) of Freedom, NH; and his parents, Thomas E. and Nora M. Ferguson (Colbert). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends of Cape Cod National Seashore, P.O. Box 550, Wellfleet, MA 02667.
