It is with sadness that the passing of Robert L. Johnson of Boxford, Massachusetts is shared. Robert, born on April 8, 1927, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnson and Cora Johnson (Janes); and his sister Dona Thacker. He is survived by: his wife Anna Johnson (Bucci); his children, Chase Johnson (Sharon), Leslie Van Volkinburg (Steve), Lori Bonfiglio and Marnie Gibeley (Marc); and his grandchildren, Kyle, Brent, Gregg, Liann, Nini, Caroline, Sam, Heather, Brianna, Michaela, Ryan, Nate and Will. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and a wide circle of extended family, church members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Donnell Cremations-Funerals (167 Maple St, Danvers, MA 01923). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Church of Boxford (4 Georgetown Rd, Boxford, MA 01921). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Boxford Village Cemetery (9 Georgetown Rd, Boxford, MA 01921).
