He was predeceased by: his brother Wesley Carpenter; and his wife Barbara Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Christine Carpenter (Erik Cade) of Rutland, Kimberly Youkstetter (Karl) of Shrewsbury, Sarah Holland (Richard) of Shrewsbury, Caleb Carpenter of Tucson Arizona and Seth Carpenter of Henderson North Carolina; and his brother Dr. Tristram Carpenter (Jean) of Norfolk Ma. He is also survived by eight granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cyprian Keyes Golf Club (284 E Temple St, Boylston, MA 01505). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Cyprian Keys Golf Club (284 E Temple St, Boylston, MA 01505).
