She is survived by: her children, Donald J. Lutz Jr. (Gail Sweeney) of Weymouth, Linda, John Wells of Braintree and Wendy A. Lutz of Buffalo; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Micah, Abby, Justin and Adrienne.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the John Scott Home Activities Fund or the Trinity Episcopal Church Scholarship Fund, causes that were close to Dorothy's heart.
