He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Doran and Frances W. Doran (Sheehan); and his brothers, John "Jack" Doran, Robert Doran and Richard Doran.
He is survived by: his wife Marie A. Doran (McNeill); his children, Jeanne Hicks (David) of Weymouth, Deborah Comperchio (Joseph) of Pembroke, Francis Doran (Melissa) of Marshfield and Cynthia Chesna (late Michael) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Eric (Emily), Jonathan (Samantha), Kayla (Tyler), Alyssa (Luke), Corey, Emily, Alexa, Benjamin, Olivia and Jack; and his great grandchildren, Liam and Erin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home (1755 Ocean St, Marshfield, MA 02050). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Angels Church (392 Hanover St, Hanover, MA 02339). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Blue Hill Cemetery (700 West St, Braintree, MA 02184).
