He was predeceased by: his siblings, William, John, Catherine Merchant, Thomas, Daniel, Henry and Edward "Huck" Differ.
He is survived by: his wife Norma E. Differ (Wuntsell); his children, Francis "Mike" Differ Jr. (Alix) of Middleboro, Christie Differ of Newton, Robert Differ (Tom Lynch) of Ogunquit, ME. and Edward Differ (Elizabeth) of West Roxbury; his grandchildren, Jacob M., Jesse A. and Eamon James Differ; and his siblings, Elizabeth Lyons of Brookline, Jeanne Hayes of Walpole and Jimi Differ of Hancock, ME.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
