He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Tibets and Veronica Tibets (Flattich); and his grandson John Patrick. He is survived by: his children, Gretchen Rakes (Michael) of Holbrook, Heather Allen (John) of Braintree, Shaun Tibets (Sionie) of Brockton, Harold Tibets (Brittany) of Braintree and Kaylee Finley of Franklin; his siblings, Veronica Hillary of Quincy, Mary Orlando of Needham, Regina Lynch of So, Boston, Clair Settles of Weymouth, Barbara Boyd, Arthur Tibets of Gardner, Peter Tibets of Quincy, Christopher Tibets of Hull, Eddie Tibets of Dover, Philip Tibets of Rhode Island, Paul Tibets of Middleboro, Michael Tibets of Taunton and Patrick Tibets of Westwood; his former wife Joanne Neal; and his grandchildren, Caden, Dylan, Joseph, Jacob, James, Emerson, Charlotte, Amelia and Juliette. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
