With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Marie Canty of Braintree, Massachusetts, born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 82. In the sacred silence of farewell, Janice is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard A. Canty; and her brothers, Charles Ray "Hoss" Walker and Melvin Eugene Walker. She is survived by: her siblings, Helen Louann Wiessmeyer of Weymouth, Dixie Lee Dunajski of Braintree, Linda Sue Rioux of Quincy and Dana Frank Walker of The Villages; and her uncle Frank Eugene Walker of Delaware. She is also survived by three Stepchildren, nine Step Grandchildren and one Step-Great Grandchild.
