He is survived by: his wife Virginia Nelson (Hawes) of Braintree; his children, John Nelson of Braintree, Sheryl Nelson of Bridgewater and Richard Nelson (Jillian) of Weymouth; his sisters, Joan Bubier (late Fred Bubier) of Mattapoisett and Karen Moore (Gilbert Moore) of Tennessee; his brother-in-law Richard K. Hawes (Margaret) of Weymouth; his grandchildren, Rilley Lydon of West Virginia, Kasey Lydon of Raynham, Erin Lydon of Bridgewater and Owen Lydon of Bridgewater; and his great grandchild Liam Graham of West Virginia.
