John P. Taylor Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John P. Taylor of Braintree, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary B. Taylor (McDonough); his child Elyce Sweeney (Jon) of Charlestown; his brother Richard Taylor (Sheila); his siblings-in-law, Catherine, Mary Taylor, Joseph McDonough (Maureen), Maureen Connors (late Jerry), Jean O'Malley (Bob), Myles McDonough (Dorene), Genevieve Novo (Miguel), Donna Gavin (Billy) and Wally McDonough; his niece Jacqui Magnarelli (Matt); and his nephew Ricky Taylor (Amy). He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John J. O'Connor & Son Funeral Home (740 Adams St, Dorchester, MA 02122). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Brendan's Church (589 Gallivan Blvd, Boston, MA 02124).
