He is survived by: his friends, Dave and Jack; his children, Sharon L. McGarty (Michael), Paul J. Smyth, Braintree F. D. (Barbie), Gary A. Smyth, Deputy Chief of Quincy, F. D. and Annie Croft; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Kevin, Greg (Kirsten), Rebecca (Andre), Amanda (Keith), Brendan, Bridget and Caroline; and his great grandchild Sadie Smyth Devlin. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends.
