Joseph E. Burke Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2021, Joseph E. Burke of Braintree, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Burke and Anna E. Burke (Tansey); his wife Elizabeth A. "Betty" Burke; his child Evanne Burke of Braintree; and his siblings, Irene Burke, Jean Murphy and John "Jack" Burke.

He is survived by: his children, Deborah A. Notinger (Steven) of Nashua, NH, Joseph H. Burke, Dianne E. Silvia (Derek) of Bridgewater and Paul A. Burke (Jodi) of Danvers; his brothers, Gerard "Gerry" Burke (Rosemary) of Norton and James "Jim" Burke (Patricia) of Wilbraham; and his siblings-in-law, Florence Burke of Sagamore Beach, Philip Murphy of Walpole and Janice Hamilton of Brookline. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Joe and Betty Burke Memorial Scholarship Fund," c/o RAH Federal Credit Union, 45 Diauto Drive, Randolph, MA 02368, to be established to help students graduating from Randolph High who wish to pursue a college degree in education (Joe and Betty's passion), or a charity of your choice.
