He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Murphy and Marion Murphy; his wife Kathleen Murphy; and his sister Jeri Behan. He is survived by: his child Thomas Murphy (Patricia Sorensen) of Quincy; and his siblings, Patricia Clasby (late David) of Milton, Frank Murphy (Diane) of Taylors, SC and Jeanne Brewer (late Edward) of Auburn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
