She was predeceased by : her parents, George Finnegan and Margaret Finnegan (O'Dea); her husband Gerard M. "Luke" Murphy; and her siblings, Joan Quinn, George Finnegan and Richard Finnegan.

She is survived by : her daughters, Christine M. Sullivan (John) of Manchester, CT, Susan M. Flint of Braintree, Jayne M. Murphy of Wollaston and Carolyn M. Murphy of Weymouth; her sisters, Jeanne Johnston of Walpole and Peggy Reidy of Plymouth; and her friend Joanne Martin of Marshfield. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and neighborhood friends.
