She was predeceased by: her father Carl; and her sister Phyllis Atkinson. She is survived by: her children, Lawrence O'Brien, III of Braintree, Christopher O'Brien (Jennifer) of Monterey, CA and Elizabeth O'Brien (Nathan) of Braintree; her granddaughters, Lily, Abigail and Samantha; her siblings, Carl Beck and Barbara Dertinger; and her former husband Lawrence O'Brien, Jr. of Braintree.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the First Congregational Church of Braintree, 12 Elm St, Braintree, MA 02184, and to the Braintree Historical Society, 31 Tenney Road, Braintree MA 02184.
