He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Lefas and Georgia Lefas (Bitsikas). He is survived by: his wife Georgia Lefas (Simos); his children, Elias "Louie" Lefas and Catherine "Cathy" Lowe (Eric); his grandchildren, Nikolaos, Georgiana, Dimitrios and Alexandros; and his siblings, Dionysios Lefas (Athanasia), Konstantina Delkouras (Haralambos) and Aggeliki Theodorou (Efstratios). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Nikolaos' memory can be made to St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church.
