He was predeceased by: his parents, John McDonald and Mary McDonald (Dalton) of Braintree; and his siblings, Margaret McDonald of Needham and John McDonald of Rhinebeck, NY. He is survived by: his wife Elli Will-Kolodziej of Berlin, Germany; his former wife Barbara Fallon of Bourne Village; his children, Chris Bartz (US), Polly (Pietrick) of Arlington, Beth Anne (Thomas Elliott) of Sagamore Beach, Suzanne McDonald (Robert Roklan) of Middletown, RI, Karen McDonald of Charleston, SC, Tobias McDonald (Stefan Weber) of Berlin, Germany and Dalton McDonald (Gabrielle Harris) of Florida; his grandchildren, Audrey Bartz, Shannon Elliott, Caroline Elliott, Claire Bartz, Dillon Elliott, Cadet, Bridget Bartz and Elise Roklan; his sisters, Joanne McDonald of Rhinebeck, NY and Marianne Woodsome of Santa Barbara, CA; and his sister-in-law Jeanette McDonald (Rivard) of Rhinebeck, NY. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews.
