Peter Joseph Forbes Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peter Joseph Forbes of Braintree, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Forbes and Nora Theresa Forbes (Donohoe). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Forbes (Lewis); his sons, Peter, Brian, John and James; his daughter-in-law McKayla Forbes; and his siblings, John (Cindy) of East Boston, William (Susan) of Methuen, Ann Sullivan (Duane), Mary Gallotto (Mario), Paul (Susan) and Joan Dunn (Jim). He is also survived by 36 nieces and nephews and an adoring grandfather.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home (845 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Clare Church (1244 Liberty St, Braintree, MA 02184).
