He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Florence, John Keese, Lucille and Edward DeSantis; his great-grandparent Agnes DeLtufo; his uncle John "Jack" Keese; and his aunt Loretta Furtado.

He is survived by: his parents, Cheryl DeSantis (Keese) and Robert E. DeSantis; his son Robert E. DeSantis, III; the mother of his child Graceanne Sullivan; his girlfriend Shawna Steele; his aunt Gayle; his uncle Lloyd Benson; and his cousins, Sharon, Heather, Jennifer, LauraLee Buchman and Nicole Ivy.
