She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Whittum and Jennie Whittum; her daughter Terri Houghton; and her siblings, Hal Whittum and Paula Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Palumbo (Janis), Laura Foley (Kevin), Cathryn Green (Adam) and Ellen Westcott. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
