With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gladys A. Croteau of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2026 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Prentis and Louise Prentis (Wolboltt); her son James Croteau of Florida; and her siblings, Nancy Hoffses, Jane Smalley and Bill Prentis.
She is survived by: her husband Jeffery J. Croteau, Sr.; her children, Jane McCaul (Barry) of Maine, Judith Croteau of Bridgewater, Jeffery Croteau Jr. of Texas, Janet Icenogle (William) of Florida and Joseph Croteau of Taunton; her grandchildren, James, Candace, Scott, Faith, Christina, Jeffery III, Katrina and Tiffany; and her brother Teddy Prentis (Pauline) of Virginia.
