As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Helen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband John H. Oakes of Quincy; and her brother Frank Stoddard. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Oakes, Susan Oakes-Lino and John Oakes; her grandchildren, Aeden and Mason Oakes-Lino; and her godson Sean Satkus. She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Bridgewater (98 Bedford St, Bridgewater, MA 02324). A Mass was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
